If you suspect the presence of toxic materials or
chemicals on your property, Inspection Connection, Inc. can
arrange and manage any of the following environmental
testing services. In addition, our licensed remediation
experts can design the remediation process for any such
contaminants.
A Phase I Environmental Audit of the property is
performed by a licensed engineer. This is a visual
inspection and a search of the site-records to determine if
there may be asbestos, lead paint, underground fuel tanks,
or dangerous chemicals on the property. If any of the above concerns were detected, a phase II
Environmental Audit would be performed. The suspect
materials and/or chemicals would be sampled and analyzed and
a detailed report would be produced, indicating their
presence. Inspection Connection can arrange and manage the
remediation process through the use of our network of
licensed remediation experts.
If there is suspected asbestos-containing material on the
property, Inspection Connection, Inc., can arrange an
inspection by a licensed expert. He will sample and analyze
the suspect material. You will receive a report documenting
the presence or absence of asbestos. If needed, a
remediation program will be included.
In case you need to find out if there is an underground
oil tank on your property, Inspection Connection, Inc., can
arrange an inspection by a tank expert. If a tank is
discovered, then the soil around the tank can be tested for
oil content. When the test results confirm the presence of oil, our
experts can design a remediation plan. The remediation
process is performed for an extra cost.
If lead is suspected on the property, Inspection
Connection, Inc., can send a licensed lead paint expert to
evaluate the site. He will sample the paint, analyze it, and
produce a report indicating its presence or absence. If the test results confirm there is lead paint on the
property, a remediation program can be designed. Our experts
can implement the program for an extra cost.
If the public drinking water or a private well on the
property is suspected to contain contaminates, Inspection
Connection, Inc., can send a water expert to sample the
water. A licensed laboratory will analyze the water and
produce a report indicating the chemical content and whether
it is safe or unsafe. For an additional fee, a water remediation program can be
designed.
To check the indoor air quality in your home or building,
Inspection Connection, Inc., can send an air-quality expert
to perform air sampling. You will receive a report
indicating what types of contaminants are present and what
health risks are associated with them. For an additional fee, a remediation program can be
designed. © Inspection Connection, Inc.
